The criterium of Dauphiné will launch the week of the Aravis Bike Tour 2021.
The routes are unveiled, once again, the cyclists will pass through the Val d’Arly on Sunday 6 June 2021. Last stage for the win between La Léchère and Les Gets (La Léchère – Albertville – Héry – Flumet – La Giettaz- col des Aravis – Col de la Colombière – Rest – Cluses – Samoëns- Col de Joux Plane – Morzine – Les Gets.
The day will end with a welcome drink for the 2021 edition!

* a leisure or performance course by the Glières plateau on Monday 14/09
* and the passage of the Tour de France on 09/17

The passage of the cycle races starts this week with the tour of Savoie Mont Blanc which will cross all the villages of the Val d’Arly this Wednesday August 5th. Come encourage the runners! Due to sanitary constraints, there will be no passage of the advertising caravan.
Stage Annemasse- Praz sur Arly with 123km and 2570m of elevation
Passage through La Giettaz between 3.20 p.m. and 3.45 p.m. Road closure 15 min before the runners pass

Allan Crouvizier, meteorologist from the website http://www.meteo-chamonix.org/drupal/p-r-e-v-i-s-i-o-n-s/alpes-du-nord, will provide a detailed weather forecast for each day’s stage, so you can be sure to choose the correct kit.
Thanks to the partnership between the Vaulx en Velin Cycling Club and the Commune of La Giettaz, the team is attending the Aravis Bike Tour. From Tuesday, the riders will be present at the start of each day’s stage, and they will join us on Thursday’s ride, the reconnaissance of the Etape du Tour.

– for mechanical help: Jean-Christophe Jandet, professional mechanic with Mavic, who has worked on many of the biggest races in the pro calendar (Tour de France, Paris-Roubaix, Liege-Bastogne-Liege, etc)
– for advice on training: Christophe Garcia, directeur sportif of Vaulx en Vélin, and Régis Auclair, president of the Association des Clubs Cyclistes de Division National.
